Biophysical profile

 

In the biophysical profile study different characteristics of the fetus are evaluated both by ultrasound and by the echograph. The aspects taken into account to conclude the baby’s health is well are the fetal cardiac monitoring (FCM), fetal respiratory movements, gross fetal movements, fetal tone and the amount of amniotic fluid.
